Monty is happy! He spends all his time hanging out with his best friend, Sofia, or building spectacular worlds in their favorite computer game.
Sofia works on tech gadgets in the school’s Tech and Innovation Club, and together with Monty, she invents a pair of genius VR glasses that can be used for gaming.
Life couldn’t be better!
But when their invention is stolen, manipulated, and mass-produced as the new gaming sensation Super Happy, all the adults in town become obsessed with spending time inside the irresistible metaverse. They fall into a trance-like state, leaving the children completely on their own.
At first, Monty is thrilled by a world without annoying adults, screen-time restrictions, or responsibilities.
But he and his friends quickly realize they need to shut Super Happy down—before the game consumes the entire world.
As digital avatars, Monty, Sofia, and their friends venture into the heart of Super Happy to fight the evil metaverse from within…
